In-Office Thyroid Ultrasound & Biopsy
One of the advantages of my practice is that I perform thyroid ultrasound evaluations right in the office. No referrals to a separate imaging center. No waiting weeks for results. If a nodule requires further investigation, I also perform ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy in-office — a minimally invasive procedure done under real-time imaging for precision and comfort. My fee for the procedure is paid directly to the practice. The laboratory and cytology evaluation of the biopsy specimen is typically covered by insurance. Standard thyroid care checks TSH and calls it a day. My approach goes further.
